The NIM Library is established in 1994. The Library is connected with LAN, the library has privilege of using 100.0 Mbps Internet leased line.
NIM Library plays a vital role in acquisition, Organization and dissemination of Knowledge. Library has an exceptional collection of over 12,111 volumes of text books, reference books, general books, Journals and magazines, CD-ROMs, online resources and other reading material. The Library has good Infrastructure with well equipped sitting arrangement for student. Books are classified according to the Dewey Decimal Classification Scheme. Its operations are computerized using LIBRARY MANAGER 2.0.0 Software.
Library subscribes EBSCO Database. Library Provides access to staff & students for Video lectures from NPTEL (National Program on technology Enhanced Learning), NDL (National Digital Library of India).

RARE BOOKS The Bhandarkar Oriental Research Institute : The Bhandarkar Oriental Research Institute was founded on July 6, 1917 in the honor of the work of Ramkrishna Gopal Bhandarakar, the foremost pioneer of scientific Orientology in India. The institute has one of the largest collections of rare books and manuscripts spanning over 1,40,000 books and 28,000 manuscripts collected in a period of 90 years covering practically every aspect of Orientology. Books are issued on presentation of the library card. Students are instructed to check the books while borrowing and they will be responsible for any type of damage or mutilation noticed at the time of return.
Validity of Cards:
Validity of Institutional Membership is from 1st July to 30thJune (Academic Year).
Loss of Card:
Member will have to pay Rs.50/- for getting duplicate borrower card. Loss of borrower card should be reported to the librarian in writing.
Overdue Charges:
Two books will be issued to the students for 7 days only. The fine will be charged @ Re.2 per day per book from the due date till the book is returned to library.
Book Lost:
If the books are lost, then the borrower shall replace the books of the same edition or latest edition or pay double cost of the book after consulting the librarian.
Care of Library Books:
Students are required to handle the books/ Journal very carefully; marking with pencil; writing or highlighting, tearing the pages or mutilating the same in any other way will be viewed very seriously. In such case user shall be held responsible unless these are brought to the notice of the library staff at the time of issuing of book.
Reference section:
This section includes Encyclopedia, Dictionaries, Hand books, and reference books etc. which are only available for reference. User can make use of these resources.
Journal Section:
In these section journals, general magazines and News letter are available. They are arranged alphabetically. The latest issues are displayed on display rack.
Working Hours of the Library:
⦁ Monday to Saturday 8 am to 5 pm. Reading hours extended till 9 p.m.
