Constitution Day Celebration

Constitution Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and respect at Navjeevan Law College ( NSS Department ) on 26 Nov 2025. The programme was organized to create awareness about the importance of the Indian Constitution among students. The event began with an informative speech by Prof Mr. Makarand Pande Sir, who highlighted the significance of the Indian Constitution and explained the historical background of its framing. He also emphasized the role of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar as the chief architect of the Constitution and spoke about the fundamental rights and duties that safeguard Indian democracy. As a vital part of the celebration, the Preamble of the Indian Constitution was read collectively by all participants. Nearly 85 students were present and took the pledge with pride and respect, reaffirming their commitment to constitutional values like justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity. On this occasion a small Exhibition of Indian Constitution Books was also organized in the library premises. Librarian Mrs. Mangal Patil took initiative by arranging around 100 books of constitution written in English and Marathi language. Our respected Principal Dr. Prafull Chavate, addressed the gathering and inspired students to follow the principles of the Constitution in their daily lives. All teaching staff members were present and actively participated in the programme and also visited Book exhibition.
