18/03/2025 – Arrival at Agra in the morning 4.30 am. After freshing up visit to Fathehpur Sikri, Tajmahal, Agra Fort, etc.  Night stay at New Delhi.

 

(Afternoon session – Law Commission of India at 4.00 pm) – Students Visited law Commision of India office in the second half of the first day of educational visit. Justice Ritu Raj Awasthi member secratary performing the duty of law commision officiating director interacted with the students along with Mr. Rajan Sharma office bearer relating to the organisational set up, functions of law commision of India and its role in the preparation of various laws applicable to the territory of India. She answered the questions asked by the students. The meeting ends with the snacks and high tea.  In the evening students enjoyed the visit of India Gate and National War Memorial.

 

                        

21/03/2025 (Morning Session 10.30 am) – on this day as per permission given by the Supreme Court of India we reached sharply at 10.30 am. After due scrutiny and verification of E-pass one officer incharge divided the students in different groups and then asked to sit in the courts alloted to observed the proceedings. Students heared the arguments live before the court and thrilled to get the knowledge by actual presence in the toppest judicial authority in India. Students also visited the SC Museum and the Judges Library. In the evening students visited Qutub Minar and observed the Monument.

 

               

22/03/2025 – After getting early in the morning and freshing up students packup their  luggages and check out from the hotel. In the morning 9.30 we reached to the Red Fort New Delhi. Students enjoyed the visit of Red Fort and then shopping also.

At 2.30 pm as per time alloted we reached Rashtrapati Bhavan. After due verification of E-pass the officer allowed us to enter. The visit starts after allotment of  guide to have the inside view of The Rashtrapati Bhavan. Students watched the Ashoka Hall, the Buety of the dining hall, Guests Room etc. The Rashtrapati’s Private Museum and Amrut Garden visit was very fantastic feast for the students. After viewing the premises the students enjoyed the photography.

In the evening we all have a tour to the famous Akshardham Temple. After enjoying the light and sound show we started our overnight journey towards the Amritsar.

23/03/2025–  In the morning 5.30 we reached to the Amritsar. On that day as it was observed as a Shahid Diwas, thousands of people were gathered to pay homage and to pray in the Golden Temple. After freshing up students visited Golden Temple and took “Lunger” over there. Then we all reached to the Jaliyanwala Bagh a Historical place where General Dyer fired bullets killing approximately 2500 devotees in the year 1913. In the evening we enjoyed the visit of Wagha Border also called Atari Border. We saw live coverage of the activities of Indian and Pakistan soldiers performed. At the end of thr visit we boarded to PUNJAB MAIL started from firozpur cant. at 9.55 pm on the same day.

25/03/2025 – Morning at 3.30 am reached safely at Nashikroad Railway station.

Panchavati Police Station Visit

Date of visit – 15th February 2025

Navjeevan law College CIDCO, Nashik has organized Panchavati Police Station Visit on 15th February 2025. Final Year Students of LL.B.Three Years course and B.A.LL.B. Five Years Course attended the visit.

The main object of the visit was to gain firsthand understanding of the daily operations of a police station, including procedures for filing complaints, investigation processes, and the role of police officers in maintaining law and order.This visit gave a great opportunity to students to interact with the Police officers of the police station. Shri. Madhukar Kad sir( Senior Police Inspector of Panchavati Police Station and Unit One) had provided the information related to the Police Department, Secret Department, Criminal Record, offences, Panchavati police Station jurisdiction, Weapon Department, Record register, Prison, and etc..

The field visit to Panchavati Police Station provided valuable insights into the day-to-day operations of a police station, highlighting the multifaceted role of police officers in maintaining law and order within the community. The interactions with police personnel offered a deeper understanding of the procedures involved in handling complaints and investigations.

This Visit was Successful with the support of the Principal, teaching and non teaching staff of Navjeevan law College CIDCO, Nashik.

NASHIK CENTRAL JAIL VISIT

Navjeevan Law College, Nashik arranged an educational visit to the Nashik Road Central Jail, the visit is arranged & coordinated by our Respected Principal Dr. P. B Chavate Sir Faculty Dr. Pradhnya Sawarkar, & accompanied by Miss. Vasudha chandanshive and Mrs. Indrayani Gunjal & LL. B and B.A.LLB final year students.

The permission granted by Aruna Mugutrao Mam, Incharge of Prison. The purpose of the visit was to gain insights into the functioning, conditions, and rehabilitation programs within the prison.

During visit all information was given by Devaka Bedwal Madam (Jailor). It houses a considerable number of inmates, including those awaiting trial, convicted prisoners, and detainees serving various sentences.

The visit to the Central Jail in Nashik provided valuable insights into the functioning of the correctional system and highlighted areas for improvement. It is imperative for authorities to address these challenges systematically to ensure the safety, security, and rehabilitation of inmates while upholding the principles of justice and human rights.

INDUSTRIAL AND LABOUR COURT VISIT

Navjeevan Law College, Nashik arranged an educational visit to the Labour and Industrial Court , Nashik, the visit is arranged & coordinated by Dr. Pradhnya Sawarkar.

Hon’ble Shri. K. S. Kulkarni (member Industrial Court, Nashik), Hon’ble Shri. A.A. Vyas, (Administrative Judge, Nashik) And Hon’ble Smt. R. N. Kulkarni , (Judge , labour Court, Nashik) were present during visit. They gave all important information relating to the functioning and procedure followed in Labour and industrial court. Also gave information about the importance of Mediation, Arbitration in the speedy justice system.

Visit was very successful and very informative.

High Court of Judicature at Bombay, Bench at Aurangabad

Date of visit: 14/03/2024

As per the permission given by the Hon. High Court, Aurangabad Bench 50 ( 27 Boys and 23 Girls) students and 2 Faculty members of Navjeevan Law College, visited the Bench on 14th of March 2024. Students started by a Special Bus from Navjeevan Law College at 6.30 am in the morning. Students were accompanied with Prof. Makarand S. Pande and Dr. Shalini Ghumre for this educational visit.

At 11 am we reached the High Court. After verifying the documentary proof the security allowed to enter into the premises. All students were asked to sit in the Conference Hall. Mr. Vikram Kingaonkar, Dy. Registrar, Administration addressed the students. He gave the information regarding the establishment of High Courts in India, their powers, establishment of Aurangabad Bench, infrastructure, use of advanced technology, Present Judges. Through power point presentation he showed a demo regarding searching of cases, status, judgments of Bombay High Court and allied High Courts. Students then visited the various court rooms and observed the proceedings. Students also visited filing section and Judges Library.

After Lunch at 3 pm students visited the ADR centre, High Court extension new building. Mr. Makarand Mandavgane, District Judge and Centre Head addressed the students. In one hour discussion he explained the meaning of ADR, importance, role of Mediator, Mediation process, legal provisions along with practical and decided matters. Students asked the questions and Hon. Judge gave proper answer to their queries. Students observed the Mediation process live in a Mediation room.

At 5 pm we reached the Maharashtra National Law University, Aurangabad. Students were welcomed by Hon. Dr. Dhanaji Jadhav, Registrar, MNLU. Students visited various class rooms, Library and Moot Court Hall. In a Conference Hall Professor Dr. Ashok Wadje, addressed the students and explained the History of establishment of National Law Universities in India, the various National Universities particularly in state of Maharashtra along with the procedure of Admission, Courses run, eligibility etc. He gave all information about MNLU Aurangabad, infrastructure, facilities, intake, teaching and non teaching staff, campus etc. The meeting ended with question answer session and High tea for all the students and staff.

At the end of the day students visited Bibi Ka Maqbara, Historical Landmark of Aurangabad (Now Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar). The return journey started at about 9.30 pm and after having dinner reached safely at Nashik at 2.30 in the morning.

Report on Central Jail Visit in Nashik

Navjeevan Law College, Nashik arranged educational tour to the Nashik Road Central Jail, the visit is arranged & coordinated by our Respected Faculty Dr. Pradhnya Sawarkar Mam, & Principal Dr. P. B Chavate Sir accompanied by Dr. Shalini Ghumre Mam & LL. B final year students.

The permission granted by Ms. Aruna Mukutgaonkar Mam, Incharge of Prison. The purpose of the visit was to gain insights into the functioning, conditions, and rehabilitation programs within the prison.

The Central Jail in Nashik is guided to us by Mrs.Devaka Bedwal Mam. It houses a considerable number of inmates, including those awaiting trial, convicted prisoners, and detainees serving various sentences.

The jail has stringent security measures in place, including high walls, surveillance cameras, and trained security personnel. Inmates are housed in separate units based on their category and security level, such as pre-trial, convicted, and high-security prisoners. The jail provides basic amenities such as bedding, clothing, healthcare facilities, and regular meals to the inmates. There are vocational training programs, educational classes, and counseling sessions aimed at skill development and reintegration into society post-release.

The visit to the Central Jail in Nashik provided valuable insights into the functioning of the correctional system and highlighted areas for improvement. It is imperative for authorities and stakeholders to address these challenges systematically to ensure the safety, security, and rehabilitation of inmates while upholding the principles of justice and human rights.

Regional Forensic Science Laboratory, Nashik

The Navjeevan Law College Nashik arranged Forensic Laboratory Visit for the Final Year LL. B students on 19.03.2024 at The Regional Forensic Science Laboratory, Nashik.

The Visit attended by Final Year Students along with Our Respected Dr Pradhnya Sawarkar Mam, Ms. Ulka Chauhan & Our Respected Principal Dr P.B. Chavate Sir.

The permission to the Laboratory is given by Deputy Director Respected Shri R. R.Pawar Sir.

This Laboratory covers the 5 Districts which are Jalgaon, Dhule, Nashik, Nandurbar & Ahmednagar.

The work of the Forensic Science Laboratory is divided into Different Departments as per the work

  • N.A. Department.
  1. Toxicology Department
  2. Cyber Branch
  3. Biology Department.

This explanation & process explained in very good manner which help us in enhance our knowledge & help in our future work.

NASHIK CENTRAL JAIL VISIT REPORT

Navjeevan law College CIDCO, Nashikhad organized Nashik Central Jail Visit on  25thMarch 2023 (Saturday). Final Year Students of LL.B.Three Years course and B.A.LL.B. Five Years Course attended the visit.

The Law students got an opportunity to see and understand the environment and administration of Nashik central Jail..During this Visit Students came to know that many  facilities has been providing by Jail authorities with the help of government for the prisoners such as typing facilities, operating the computers, etc.Even One Saturday jailauthoritiesorganisedgames in 5 batches for all prisoners to maintain their health and refreshment.It was a great experience for students.

Navjeevan law College CIDCO, Nashikhad organized NashikSatpur Police Station  Visit on 8th April 2023 (Saturday). Final Year Students of LL.B.Three Years course and B.A.LL.B. Five Years Course attended the visit.

The Law students got an opportunity to understand the administration and environment in a Police Station. This visit gave a great opportunity to students to interact with the Police officers of the police station.MrWagh sir (PSI) ,Mrs.AshwiniUbale ( Incharge of NirbhayaPathak )and MrSalunke sir (Police Constable) had provided the information related toPolice Department,Secret Department, Criminal Record, offences, Satpur police Station jurisdiction, Weapon Department, Record register, Prison, and etc. Overall it was a great experience.
