A Guest lecture on the topic “Foundation of Justice: Principles of Criminal Law and International Insights” was organized by Navjeevan Law College, Nashik to enrich students’ understanding of the fundamental concepts of justice and its relevance in the legal framework.
The session was graced by Dr. Rohini Shrirang Honap Ma’am, Emeritus Professor, TMV’s Lokmanya Tilak Law College, Pune, with her vast academic experience and deep knowledge of criminal law, Dr. Honap Ma’am delivered an enlightening lecture that provided both theoretical and global perspectives on the foundation of justice.
The program commenced with a welcome address by Principal Dr. Prafulla Chavate Sir, followed by the felicitation. It was a moment of pride for the college to acknowledge that Dr. Honap Ma’am was the Ph.D. guide of our respected Dr. Samir Chavan Sir, making the occasion even more special.
The event was anchored by Prof. Himani Deshpande Ma’am, who conducted the session gracefully and maintained an engaging flow throughout the program. The Vote of Thanks was proposed by Prof. Rakshit Sherekar Sir, who expressed heartfelt gratitude to the guest and all participants for making the event a success.
The lecture was highly appreciated by students and faculty members for its clarity, depth, and practical relevance, leaving everyone inspired to explore the principles of justice in both national and international contexts. The programme was attended by 75 students (U.G. & P.G.) and all faculty members.
