“In-depth Study Ensures Success” – Justice S. D. Jagmalani
“A sincere and in-depth study always leads students to their goals. Legal education should not be confined merely to practicing as an advocate; students must broaden their horizons so that the concept of justice reaches every section of society,” observed Hon’ble Principal District and Sessions Judge, Mr. S. D. Jagmalani. He was speaking at the inauguration of the newly approved Post-Graduate (LL.M.) Course in Cyber Law at Navjeevan Law College, sanctioned by Savitribai Phule Pune University.
Senior Advocate Mr. K. K. Ghughe, Nashik Bar Association, urged students to constantly update their knowledge by studying new laws, recent Supreme Court and High Court judgments, and developments in foreign legal systems. He further appealed to students to extend wholehearted support to the newly launched LL.M. programme.
Mr. Subhash Deshmukh, Managing Trustee of Navjeevan Education Society, emphasized combining study with reflection, contemplation, and experimentation, and extended best wishes to the students admitted to LL.M.
Dr. Prafulla Chavate, Principal of Navjeevan Law College, delivered the introductory remarks. Ms. Sofi Rubina conducted the proceedings, while Ms. Muskan Shaikh proposed the vote of thanks.
The event was graced by Mrs. Vijaya Deshmukh (Chairperson, Navjeevan Education Society), Mr. Vijay Kale (Secretary), Ms. Shirin Deshmukh, Mrs. Mangala Pawar, faculty members, non-teaching staff, and a large number of students.
